and 2… Re7 loses the rook to Bxc5+
if
2… Rd8 (to guard d7)
3. f5, Ne7
4. Bxc5+
and a very strong attack.
He actually played Nxg7 here…
Nxg7 looks to be the best, wins a pawn, Bishop can’t take b/c Bxc5 leads to checkmate or huge material compensation.
