Danish supermodel Helena Christensen, 38, recently claimed that her son Mingus Luchien, 7 1/2, is a chess prodigy. She said he was asked to compete for the American national chess team.
“We’ve just discovered he’s a great chess player. He went to his first tournament and came third out of 50 children and was asked to play on the American national team. He’s only played for two years. He already beats his dad.”
Mingus’ father is actor Norman Reedus, 38.

Super genes?
Hmmm……
You mean it wasn’t Mr. Reedus who taught the kid with hard work to become a chess prodigy :)?
Mingus is the new Magnus!
Go Mingus!!!
That is the worst picture of her I have seen. I just spent the last hour looking at her photos and she is a beautiful super model!
As far as her chess playing kid, I challenge him to a match on ICC 5-minute match first to win 3 games draws don’t count!
Supermodel?
Wow, standards are low in Europe…
