The Internet Chess Club generously donated 6 months of FREE membership to each participant of the Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls as well as the Denker Tournament of HS Champions. That’s nearly 50 years of free memberships!
Above is Marty Grund (VP of Online Services and one of the founders of Internet Chess Club) making the announcement of the sponsorship at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the Polgar and Denker event.
Thank you Marty and thank you Internet Chess Club!

What a guy! What a guy!
Take a bow Marty!
Boycott ICC for removing the guests.!!!
Playchess rocks harder.
wow, 6 months of the kid’s rate, how generous. Many companies give MILLIONS of dollars to charities and go unnoticed, but someone gives you what is worth less than $200 and it gets posted. Why?
Because I appreciate ALL donations to help kids. If your company donates to the SPF to help the kids, your company would be mentioned.
I want to show my appreciation for their generosity. Secondly, it is not $200. Under the current price, 6 months would be around $12.50 x approx. 100 memberships.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

ICC are not playing fair.
Removing guests is clearly stupid.
Their ‘expert’ computer cheat detectors need tweaking, I was suspended because of the large discrepancy between my Bullet and Blitz raing. They are apparently unware that this happens to be very normal. Many of the best players are near-useless at Bullet.
Thay can keep the money and GTH – I do not need this.
Maybe they are run by Bush supporters, – this would explain their behaviour.
