This is a hard game.
I am no GM but I do have some understanding of the game. Another strong player should have clearly replaced Robson. Some pathetic play after losing to Dominguez earlier in the tournament.
Though a fan of Dominguez aggressive style, Le must be furious at Robson for handing the tournament to Dominguez. There was no struggle whatsoever.
This is a tournament designed to help young American players get norms and get more experience. Hess was invited but he was unable to play because he started his study at Yale. Robson is the next highest rated American junior. If you can raise $50,000 a year to organize a chess festival, you are welcome to invite stronger players.
