History and details
Zhang Zhong doesn’t sound like a Malaysian name.
Don’t know where that came from; the post is about Singapore. Singapore is predominantly Chinese; Malaysia is not(with a significant Chinese population though), however, the Chinese are the majority of chess players. In this day and age of globalization there isn’t much substance into guessing where people are from based on their last names, especially Chinese.
