The 2014 edition of MetLife Miguel Najdorf International Chess Festival took place on 14-20th July 2014, at the Palace of Culture and Science in the Polish capital Warsaw.
The first place was shared in a seven-way tie by GM Tigran Petrosian (Armenia), GM Vasif Durarbayli (Azerbaijan), GM Aleksandr Shimanov (Russia), GM Bartolomej Macieja (Poland), IM Vitaliy Bernadsky (Ukraine),GM Vladimir Fedoseev (Russia) and GM Michal Krasenkow (Poland) on 6,5/9 points each.
However, the Armenian Grandmaster Petrosian took the trophy and the first prize of 5.000 €, provided by MetLife – the general sponsor of the tournament.
