7th and 8th round of the 2013/14 season
After a traditionally long winter break the 7th and 8th round of the Schachbundesliga take place at the 8th and 9th of February . The German champion Baden-Baden awaits the two teams of Berlin at home and is odds-on favourite to keep a clean record this season.
The top pairings take place in Mülheim where the host awaits with Bremen and Hamburg two teams of the top of the table. The remaining venues will cover mostly matches against relegation, especially at the venue Trier.
