Russian rosters for the European Team Chess Championships
The Russian Chess Federation has announced the rosters for the upcoming European Team Chess Championships. An earlier report based on Azerisport article correctly guessed that Vladimir Kramnik will not play, but Sergey Karjakin contradicted the rumour and joined the team.
Compared to the recent World Team Championship, there is one change as Alexander Morozevich will replace Nikita Vitiugov.
In the Women’s team there is also one change since the Chess Olympiad 2010 – Natalija Pogonina enters instead of the FIDE Grand Prix participant Alisa Galliamova.
Men’s team: Karjakin Sergey 2772, Grischuk Alexander 2757, Svidler Peter 2740, Morozevich Alexander 2737 and Nepomniachtchi Ian 2718

Karjakin and Morozevich will fine-tune the form in Poikovsky and Saratov, while Kosteniuk and Kosintseva sisters will play in the Nalchik FIDE Grand Prix.
