Rublevsky advances while Kasimdzhanov and Gelfand go into the playoff.
Is there a reason, why Ponomariov offered a draw in a situation like this?
I would have expected that he’d go for all-or-nothing.
when is the playoff? Same day or tomorrow?
forced draw. his queen had no where to go – bishop just keeps hitting it.
Isn´t it better to replay a game than only reading number of moves?
Ponomarion was a big chicken today accepting a draw. Boo. I’d strip him of GM title for a week. And reading Anand about GM inflation doesn’t fit here at all.
