Why hoping for the best? Qg3 is a killer move not only threatening Qxe1+ but also Rh5. White can’t capture on e3 because of his back rank weakness and if Qe2 or Qd1 black can though play Rh5.
Best defense seems to be 1. -, Qg3 2. Qe2, Rh5 3. h3 but 3. -, Bf4 4. Kg1 (what else?), Rxh3 with the threat of Rh1+ seem to end white’s suffering.
Jochen, Anon 9:16 wasn’t too serious about hoping for the best. Of course he saw all the winning threats. You don’t consider a move like Qg3 if you don’t see the pointes.
I would immediately play 1.. Qg3 and hope for the best.
yup
