Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Poor Radjabov. I hope he didn’t insult the Polish chap the way he did the Armenian.
Aronian has some friends in Poland 😉
good riddance to an asstunnel
I am happy to see Radjabov eliminated. He needs to take some lessons in manners from his teammate GM Shak….

I think it’s good for the reputation of chess that Radjabov has been eliminated: After his incredibly low level recent comments, who would like him to become a “star” (Topalov WAS enough).
Any one have a website that explains what happened that people are frustrated with radjabov. I did not hear anything.
i tell you what happened : PURE JALOUSY !!!
Remember Radjabov lost his database when the crooks broke
into his room in Mexico. That
gave Ivanchuk a chance. I still
think we are seeing the fallout
of this incident.
Karma with a name Maciejan hit him.
I explain his arrogant comments by his efforts to please his government sponsors. He is basically bought by them. Government was ready to pay $1,000,000 for the match with Topalov, made him some kind of ambassador at UN… You have to do extra work for it. Surprisingly (and wisely)armenians were largely silent letting ultimate judge to judge. Hopefully he learns from this as he is an excellent chess player. Like his countryman Kasparov – great chess player but lousy (put it mildly) politician.

Radjabov made some drastic, possibly misquoted, comments about the Azerbaijan-Armenia enmity. That was during the European Team Championship. For an english translation and a reaction by Radjabov:

radjabov was born into a WAR !!!
Blame chess base news, by putting such nauseus title to the article …
or would you like him to say nothing ( ?? ), would you expect him to be COOL ??? or a hyppocrite ??? or even a PEACE-MAKER ???
it’s a sad world i agree with you … but i don’t see anything irrelevant in his comment … ” it takes time to digest such a catastrophic event ” … and i think that’s exactly what he is saying, and not , ” let’s kill them all ” … like this stupid fire on fire bloody tittle want you to dream about …
for the rest, i totally agree with ano. 8.37 … the mexico episode must have hurt him badly …
my best to this incredible chess player, and my best to both countries !!!
Mamedyarov is so much better person and in my opinion better player…
do you people actually know radjabov and mamedyarov personally? if not, how can you say one is nicer than the other? i thought chess playes were above this kind of silliness. let’s look at their moves on the board and maybe learn something…
