Rolll up, roll up budding chess players, Dogwoof is offering you the chance to pit your wits against Grandmaster Nigel Short at the London premiere of their documentary Bobby Fischer Against The World.
Former world number three Short, widely considered the UK’s best player in recent times, will play 20 opponents in a simultaneous exhibition match on July 5 at the London premiere of Liz Garbus’ entertaining doc which debuted to critical acclaim at Sundance earlier this year.

As for the film, I came out riveted by the study of a tortured genius, who never took to the trappings of fame and was eventually undone by the paranoia essential to a good chess player, who is forever anticipating his opponents moves.
