Nordic School Chess Championship 2014 LIVE!Feb 13, 2014
Dansk Skoleskak and Capital of Children are hosting this year’s Nordic Championships in School Chess in Denmark for the first time in 6 years on February 13-16, 2014. Young people from Iceland, Faroe Islands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark will spend this year’s winter holidays in Billund and fight to become Nordic School Chess Champion.
Big challenges await the 8-20 year olds at Hotel LEGOLAND. Besides the fight to become Nordic Champion and take home the LEGO trophy, all chess moves are transmitted live via specially made sensory chess boards. All moves – bad or brilliant – can be followed anywhere in the world on www.skoleskak.dk/nm2014.
The games will take place at the Nordic Championships in School Chess 2014 at Hotel LEGOLAND, Aastvej 10, 7190 Billund. Schedule: Thursday February 13 at 3pm until Sunday February 16 at 10.30 pm. Comments will be done by FM Per Andreasen. The organizers will cooperate with Chessdom Arena and show all 30 games with analysis, parallel to that there will be LIVE-streaming of FM Per Andreasen and the players as their games finish.
They are looking for future Magnus Carlsen.
