Moscow chess club SHSM “Nashe Naslediye” is set to participate in the European Club Cup in Bilbao in both sections – Open and Women’s.
The Open team will consist of Alexander Morozevich (2731), Ian Nepomniachtchi (2730), Boris Grachev (2672),Alexey Dreev (2662), Evgeny Najer (2646), Daniil Dubov (2614), Vladimir Potkin (2610) and Ivan Popov (2546).
Women’s team is led by ex-world champion Alexandra Kosteniuk (2533) and two-times champion of RussiaValentina Gunina (2501). Olga Girya (2493), Alina Kashlinskaya (2441), Ekaterina Kovalevskaya (2431) andDaria Charochkina (2375) complete the roster.
The 30th European Club Cup and the 19th European Club Cup for Women will take place on 13-21st September, 2014, at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, Spain.

The championships will be held in 7 rounds, played in the Swiss system in accordance with the ECU Tournament Rules.
The announcement of the Moscow teams follows shortly after the promotion of Bilbao Chess 2014.
Other Russian clubs, namely Malakhit (Sverdlovsk oblast), Sankt-Peterburg and Universitet (Belorechensk) in Open section, and Ugra (Khanty-Mansiysk) and Ladya (Kazan) in Women’s section, are expected to compete in Bilbao.
