The 10th Moscow Open Chess Festival is set to take place from 31st January to 9th February, 2014, at the Russian State Social University.
The Festival will consist of the following events:
– Tournament A, RSSU Cup for men, stage for Russian Cup
– Tournament B, RSSU Cup for women, stage for Russian Cup
– Tournament C, RSSU Cup for amateurs
– Tournament D, RSSU Cup for veterans
– Tournament E, chess composition World Cup
– Tournament F, RSSU Cup for students (Grandmaster event)
– Tournament G, RSSU Cup for students (Grandmaster event, girls)
– Tournament H, RSSU Cup for school champions
The Festival will also incorporate the Moscow Championship Superfinal, which was announced two days ago.
The lineups for the RSSU Cup for students (both groups) are posted below.
RSSU Cup for students: Vladimir Belous, Dmitry Gordievsky, Urii Eliseev, Andrey Stukopin, Maksim Vavulin,Vladislav Artemiev (all Russia), Zaven Andriasian (Armenia), Vitay Bernadsky (Ukraine), Kamil Dragun (Poland) and Ulvi Bajarani (Azerbaijan).
RSSU Cup for students (girls): Irina Vasilevich, Anna Gvantseladze, Varvara Saulina, Maria Severina (all Russia), Meri Arabidze (Georgia), Nafisa Muminova (Uzbekistan), Lisa Solovleva (Ukraine), Deimante Daulyte (Lithuania), Wang Jue (China) and Karina Szczepkowska-Horowska (Poland).
The total prize fund for all events is 6,3 million RUB (approx 141,000 EUR)
