The exchange of queens must be avoided, even when taking rook (simply equal material) and c2 must of course be prodected, this leaves few options.
The idea 1. Qxd1, some black move to save the rook, and then 2. Nd4 to make problem for the retreat of black queen, is probably too weak, simply down with a quality.
So I think it would have to be 1. Qe4 with black’s rook and knight both hanging and the threat exd6+ active, blacks queen and knight badly placed, and Re1 is a strong follow up.
Since black can afford to sack some piece, there seems to be many variations, black king seems relatively comfortable on d8/c7, but white should have Qh4+/Qc4+ against those.
I go for 1. Qe4 but ain’t clever enough to give all the variations here!
Oh, an argument against the otherwise stronglooking 1. Qe4 would be: 1. Qe4 Qxc2+ 2. Qxc2+ Rxc2 3. Kxc2 Ne3+ With this R sack there is equal material and chances, I think.
So perhaps a winning idea could be 1. Qxd1 possibly followed by Nd4, but I wouldn’t dare to play that on the board…
I don’t know, your idea is great but what do you think about my threats..let me finish my line please:) 1.exd6+ Qxe2 2.d7+ Ke7 3.dxc8Q and he can’t avoid to next check on Qd7+ and following Rf1+ …and it’s done! Please would you check my idea and to write mi back?
1.exd6+ Qxe2 2.d7+ Ke7 3.d8Q and white will win
1.exd6+ Qxe2 2.d7+ Ke7 3.dxc8Q and white will win
1. exd6+ Qxe2
2. d7+ Ke7
3. dxc8(Q) Nf2
4. Qd7+ Kf6
5. Rf1
and 6. Qf5+ and 7. Qxf2
of course, 1. Qxd1 wins as well.
white Queen to a6
1. exd6+! Kd8
2. d7! +-
