Dear colleagues,
I would like to inform you about the options for accomodation during this year’s edition of the international super chess tournament M-Tel Masters in Sofia.
The organizers of the tournament have arranged accomodation at special preferential prices for the journalists coming from abroad to cover the competition. Those of you who will come to the Bulgarian capital will be accommodated in luxury apartments in the center of the city.
The price for a single person is EUR 25 per night. The price for transfer from and to the Sofia Airport is EUR 10 in each direction.
Please submit the dates of your stay in Sofia no later than 30 April 2009. Those of you who would like to have their transfer organized will have to send us the exact details of their flights by the end of April, too.
Please have in mind that the dates 1-6 May in Bulgaria are official holidays and are non-working.
We are looking forward to having you as our guests again.
As usually, feel free to contact me if any assistance is needed.
Best regards,

Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Topalov will run away with it again.
Could be Topalov,Ivanchuk or anyone else of the rest.
This year M-tel will be very strong… and with players like Topalov, Carlsen, Shirov, and Ivanchuk, there will be a lot of fighting chess. Can’t wait to see it.
I would be interested in this opportunity, if anyone could donate to assist me with this trip. The way I look at it is as follows:
$700 flight onetravel.com
$ 33.25 per night x 9 = $300
$27.00 x 10 = $270.00 transportation to and from playing site.
Meal and other expenses $300.00
Unforeseen financial difficulties $200.00 ( to be returned or refunded unless i have provide receipt of need)
my fee = $0.00 ( An opportunity for me to enhance my journalistic approaches, professionalism, and career)
Total fees $1770.00
I will provide pictorial, video and onsite coverage as a journalist with complete coverage of the event for chess fans here in the US. I will upload comprehensive coverage once or twice daily to your digression. I have the materials and the chess knowledge to make this a beneficial experience to chess fans worldwide and I believe it would attract much attention to the website and traffic worldwide. For years, I have watched such coverage on chessbase.com and their coverage is often late and not in-depth. I believe I can provide superior coverage and everyone following the event will want to follow my coverage. Just a rough idea at this point. let me know what you guys think.
