I will attempt to do something different tomorrow. I will be doing LIVE commentary of the Morelia / Linares Super Event on ICC Chess.fm from 4:30 PM (New York Time) with Mig Greengard while blogging LIVE at the same time right here 🙂
These are the matchups for Round 6 on Saturday, February 24th
Magnus Carlsen – Peter Leko
Alex. Morozevich – Peter Svidler
Levon Aronian – Veselin Topalov
Vishy Anand – Vassily Ivanchuk
What are your predictions?
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I think you’re going to be busy! Can you do ICC commentary, live blogging, juggling, fixing the USCF and perhaps a Simul at the same time?!? Amazing!!!
I predict some interesting games! Oh, and gossipy remarks from Mig and substantive comments from Susan.
How about live commentary on freechess.org, since not all of us can afford pay chess servers?
Thanks.
Magnus Carlsen – Peter Leko 1/2
Alex. Morozevich – Peter Svidler 1/2
Levon Aronian – Veselin Topalov 0-1
Vishy Anand – Vassily Ivanchuk 1-0
hey someone please tell me the official site
Magnus Carlsen – Peter Leko 0-1
Alex. Morozevich – Peter Svidler 1/2
Levon Aronian – Veselin Topalov 1-0
Vishy Anand – Vassily Ivanchuk 1-0
Aronian-Topalov 0-1
Topalov will loose again tomorrow. Aronian is better than him and Topalov is so demoralized nowadays because of the accusations of signalling with Danailov. The performance of Topalov without Danailov in the eye contact shows something that accusations seem to be correct!

thanks for the url, do they have english
1/2
1/2
1-0
1/2
in the same order as given by Susan
Susan…I think it is not good idea to be blogging and doing comments.
The commentary in spanish(3 GMs and 2 IMs) are very good because the masters explain the games and WE can ask questions about the games online, using the ICC chat.
If you blog and speak, probably you are not going to have the time to answer the questions that we can ask you.
And with the games fihished, our masters do a summary of the day…We can see the final video other day.
It can be a good idea for the european fans because the Morelia/Linares games finish very late and we play chess early in the morning on Sunday. Our teams championships are just now, each Sunday…and I cannot arrive tired to fight with a strong opponent.
Anycase, I´ll follow you a couple of hours!
Good luck!
Carlsen – Leko 1/2-1/2
Morozevich – Svidler 1/2-1/2
Aronian – Topalov 0-1
Anand – Ivanchuk 1-0
Correction, make that
Carlsen – Leko 1/2-1/2
Morozevich – Svidler 1/2-1/2
Aronian – Topalov 1-0
Anand – Ivanchuk 1-0
Last year in Morelia Topalov lost 3 and won 1 game out of 7.
This year so far he has lost 2 out of 5.
Of course last year as soon as he arrived in Linares he won his first 3 games and then scored 4 wins and 3 draws for +4 out of 7.
Looking forward to hear from you, Susan! I am very impressed by Carlsen, he has a carisma that is unseen since Kasparov. I am very doubtful, however, that he will gain any points from Leko and Svidler, at least not from Svidler. So I predict an even score for him when we turn to Spain. Hope I’m mistaken, though.
Bungalow Bill
Nobody believes in a new Carlsen winning.
Where do I find Gasparov x Deep blue games ( 1997 ), – Can someone help me? Thanks.
Another story concerning cheating problem:
Intresting case appeared during just finished Moscow Aeroflot Tournament, one, relately low rated player (2535) got 5 out of 6 in the main tournament, after that some of his opponents were suspisios about his possible cheating (computer style play, strange rhythm (timing) of the moves), after that organizers just canceled live translation of this player games. So he got just half out of 3 in the rest of tournament. Just only facts.
