A great success for the “3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw”! Only 67% of the games were draws, and the players finished in the same order as they would have under the normal scoring system.
Pathetic …
This was a good event and Kramnik played very well.
Shirov looks pissed-off in this picture. Magnus looks tired. Vishy’s hair piece is dripping wet with sweat. Kramnik is smiling like the cat who ate the canary.
What a picture!
It’s understandable a 19yr old looks tired, he doesn’t have the energy of 40yr old players.
