What a sacrifice, Kramnik shows he can attack here!!!
Ivanchuk sprung a nice trap!
We see why Kramnik is the World Chess Champion!!
Kramnik is really very powerful in this tournament. His 3 blindfold wins (and 2 of them with black) were impressive. It’s amazing to see that in the blindfold he outplayed with black pieces Morozevich who is one of the most important blindfold players. Congratulations champion! You are giving well enough effort to continue games, and you are winning, that is why you are the strongest player
Go, Kramnik! I hope Morozevich recovers and continues his Amber triumphs. Youngsters can wait their turn, they are too overhyped anyway.
How is Kramnik doing it? No bathroom breaks or dangling cables. Any Topalistas have a theory? Or could he actually be the World Chess Champion!!!
Remember Topalov played a blindfold MATCH right after the World Championship. A blindfold match is a much more difficult thing to do!
LOL. Well, that’s a good point, isn’t it? Let’s congratulate Topalov for showing up. He didn’t chicken out of his blindfold games with Judith. Congratulations, Topy!
Funny, I don’t remember him saying at the time that he was playing that match to have an excuse not to play at Amber. Oh, well.
Right! The match with Judit polgar proves he was not getting hand signals from his manager Danailov. How could he? Topalov could not see!
Too bad they don’t have a real blind person playing in this tournament! 🙁
I real blind person would have a disadvantage at the rapid games 🙁
In any case I am also impressed by Kramnik’s play so far. Although I found Anand’s blunder to be completely inexplicable.
