Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I think by photos through the last months, Carlsen needs more sleep. He should take the time to relax from the important stuff when he has the time, to recharge in full. Not that I think his recent results are due to that, but he looks as if he needs relaxation above all. Less is more, very often, as in any work.
(How else can he build the Vienna into a killing machine, or the King’s gambit ;))
Not to say he should not continue to grow as a person, which is a very demanding endeavour, people living also have a task of doing so, yet one needs rest of one does not accomplish one or the other, on the longer run.
Kramnik and Anand look like they are on the movie set of Saturday Night Fever!
I think they are in the vanilla sky!
Anand: How can I beat you?
Kramnik: I dont know!
Anand: you must be kidding me!!!
Kramnik: I said I dont know!!!
Anand: How about let’s play boxing?
Kramnik: what do you bet?
Anand: My rice fields! bout you?
Kramnik: My coffee trade.
Anand: Alright deal!
Kramnik: deal!!!
Anand: did you hear that a baby was fed on elephant’s milk and gained twenty pounds in a week.
kramnik: That’s impossible. Whose baby?
Anand: An elephant’s.
Kramnik: I’m in a big trouble!
Anand: Why is that?
Kramnik: I saw a mouse in my house!
Anand: Oh, well, all you need to do is use a trap.
Kramnik: I don’t have one.
Anand: Well then, buy one.
Kramnik: Can’t afford one.
Anand: I can give you mine if you want.
Kramnik: That sounds good.
Anand: All you need to do is just use some cheese in order to make the mouse come to the trap.
Kramnik: I don’t have any cheese.
Anand: Okay then, take a piece of bread and put a bit of oil in it and put it in the trap.
Kramnik: I don’t have oil.
Anand: Well, then put only a small piece of bread.
Kramnik: I don’t have bread.
Anand: Then what is the mouse doing at your house?!
