Chess mini-tournament for students K-12 today

A mini-tournament for chess players in grades first through 12th will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Kingwood Heights Church of Christ, 115 E. MTCS Road, Murfreesboro.

All players are welcome.

Pizza, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Registration is $3 and payable at the door.

Certificates will be given to all participants and medals given to the top three players in each of three divisions: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

All proceeds benefit the RTA Chess Club.
