How come the champ Kosteniuk isn’t in the top 10 or 12? Is that a joke? Russia should change rules to make her #1 for life since her big head wants to be a chess queen for life.
Where is USA #1 on the list?
I’v read somewhere that Alexandra herself wanted to be on board 3 at the Olympiad to make sure Russia wins. So she already sacrificed her ego for the team success. This maybe affected her rating too..
That’s just the typical Russian spin to save face for Kosteniuk. Russia has never won the Olymnpiad with her on board 1. She’s always the weak link for Russia. One lucky knockout doesn’t change the fact. Not being on the top 10 speaks volume. And what about the BS lie about being a GM at 14? She got a free pass for the title for winning the European Women’s Championship with Peng. So both got the title. Now Russia is talking about changing the rules to save her crown. The Kosintseva sisters are 10 times better and nicer than Kosteniuk, period. They deserve to get their dues now.
Kosteniuk is the biggest ego maniac ever. It’s time for her to get down on her high horse and apologize to the entire chess community for her inexcusable behavior.
Why talk of or bash Kostenuik? The whole world knows that Judith is the best by far.
I think because Kosteniuk constantly insulted Judit and many other top women players by claiming that she’s the best ever and she’s the only chess queen. What about Chiburdanidze, Gaprindashvili, Xie Jun and many others? I think chess players don’t appreciate this type of obnoxious behavior and attitude. This is why many chess fans came down hard on Nakamura and others who behave the same way.

I am one of your fans and regularly enjoy your daily news. I am surprised to see you allow such intemparate comments on Vishy.
He has nothing to do with FIDE ratings. He is just recovering from acrimonious World Title which was played on Topalov’s terms (We saw Topalov fail in Chess Olympiad and after only due to psychological fatigue).
Magnus is an young genius Anand likes and respects. He often said MC will be future world champion.
It is not a matter of allowing or not allowing. We have the SPICE Cup right now and my day start at 6 am until 1 am the next day, seven days a week. I have no possible way to monitor / read each post, unfortunately.

Irina Krush is the top rated American woman at #17 with a rating of 2495. Anna Zatonskih is at #24 with a rating of 2478.
Well, now, don’t you love the
“gentleman” who begs to have Vishy’s aura intact and pristine…honestly, Ms. Polgar, I am not certain after reading the “Aruna Anand” retorts to Danailov that the acrimoniousness was coming from Topalov’s camp. On the contrary, Anand’s camp has thrived and bathed into the possibility of spinning webs of conflict, exploiting the popular dislike against Danailov, but that will neither save Anand’s overrated “political correctness,” nor help him retain his title against Carlsen in the near future. The game of chess has become a veritable version of sleaze-racket as of lately and one is startled to see how much of that has been, and continues to be, generated by the “nice guys” of Chess, such as Anand and his camp…
It’s true that most of the disgusting comments come from near illiterate chess patzers;so no need to take heed of them.

By your statement what you want to prove?
Danailov is correct and Aurna Anand is wrong?
If you claim, Anand camp utilized the popular dislike against danailov then it is danailov’s weakness and bad reputation. That is it. Ask Kramnik and he can tell you probably why that dislike is there for Danailov.
Why do you expect Anand to be super good to one and all. He doesn’t ask others to label him as Mr Nice Guy. Others just do it.
And about Carlsen. Anand is a good friend of Carlsen and definitely he won’t regret losing to him as he thinks Carlsen is worthy of WCC.
It is just that you are sore about Anand for some reason.
