Chess team to return after credible showing

Jamaica’s 7 member chess team, fresh from its all-time best performance at the World Chess Federation’s 38th Olympiad in Dresden, Germany were expected to return home Thursday.
Jamaica tied for first in Group D of the Olympiad and finished in a tie for 64th place of the 154 competing nations.
National Masters Jomo Pitterson was undefeated while registering 5 wins and 4 draws and earned the title of Fide Master.
