According to the official site, GM Le lost. However, on Chess-Results, it shows that he won. There are also a few other discrepancies between the two sites. Either way, it was a nice ending of the game for one player 🙂 Enjoy!

Actually, Le won his game
It’s confusing.
The official site also shows that Harikrisha lost, but others report he won. Why is it so hard to get this right??
Dunno usin tricks probably, Susan i just came from chess.com and i gotta a question. Do you know if the top guys over there SECRETLY play marbles?
If he lost…he played like a total patzer & it’s a huge upset if I ever seen one!
Liem should have won, otherwise Vietnam team could not score 4 points to against AZB in round 2
Bah, you call those games upsets? How about this game:

A 1736 player checkmates a 2500 GM!
Yes… Khetho lost and Bots lost 4-nil. Not sure about the colors.
Jan Smeets was brutally mated by an IM.
Daaim Shabazz, The Chess Drum
how did he allow the position to get that bad? so humiliating!
There’s a game posted on chessgames.com also under “Le Quang Liem vs Phemelo Khetho”, Chess Olympiad 2010 that’s exactly like this game.
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1592164. Don’t know where they got the game from but it’s not the same game that Le played on the official website:http://ugra-chess.com/liveboard?gameid=1001010271&ln=en&tmnt=1
Why is such discrepancy allowed in an international event like Chess Olympiad (or anywhere)?
