Jeez, what a ridiculous fuss Americans make about Independence Day.
It’s not as if British rule was that bad, foreign, or oppressive.
Many other countries would have far more reason to celebrate their Independence day, being freed from rule far harsher than that of Great Britain.
Americans are just up themselves, just like when their Presidents always end their addresses with “God bless America!”. Um, why should “God” bless Americans more than any other people on the planet?
