simple, I must be as strong as a GM
I usually find those combinations, however, I do not get to these kind of positions in my own games very often. Seems there is still a small difference…
1. Rxf6 Qxf6
(1…Rxh7 2.Rxf7 Rxf7 3.Rxf7#
2. Qh8+ Ke7
3.Qxe8+ Kxe8
4.Rxf6
and white is a piece up

Nice trap! But as you also point out with your “?” for 1…Rh7, Black doesn’t have to walk into it: 1.Qh8+ Ke7 and White still has a lot of work to do.
