Gold and bronze medals for Romanian teams at the European Youth Team Championship
From 15th to 21st of July took place the 7 round European Youth Team Championship, in Iasi, Romania. The competition was for both boys and girls under 18 years of age.
In the girls’ tournament, the gold medal was for Romanian team (Irina Bulmaga 2293, and Mihaela-Veronica Foisor 2217). The second place was taken by the first team of Hungary (Papp Petra 2261, and Varga Melinda 2152), and the third place by the second team of Hungary (Varga Klara 2161, and Kabai Zsuzsanna 2146).

In the open tournament, the first place was taken by the unstoppable Poland (Kanarek Marcel 2435, Strzemiecki Zbigniew 2420, Sadzikowski Daniel 2388, Weichhold Pawel 2336). The second place was taken by Turkey (Firat Burak 2373, Ali Marandi Cemil Can 2295, Sanal Vahap 2243, Dastan Batuhan 2239, Emiroglu Cankut 2260 ), and the third place by first team of Romania (Stanciu Alexandru-Ovidiu 2369, Doros Radu-Marian 2338, Hajbok Robert 2246, Stegariu Vlad-Ionut 2216, Malureanu Costin-George 2144)
