GM Christian Bauer takes the trophy in the 12th Lausanne Young Masters
The 12th Lausanne Young Masters chess tournament was held as a 7-round Open from 16th to 19th September in Lausanne, Switzerland. 98 players, including 11 Grandmasters, took participation.
GM Christian Bauer, Chessdom commentator and author of the popular books “The Philidor Files” and “Play the Scandinavian”Chess Books), took a clear first place with 6.0 points. Five players remained half a point behind.
The total prize fund of 11’000 CHF was distributed to 23 prizes.
