A friend and colleague of mine GM Boris Alterman just started his own blog (http://chesslessons.wordpress.com/). Here is what Chess Today wrote about it:
———- GM Alterman’s Blog ————
“The Israeli Grandmaster, Boris Alterman, recently opened a blogchesslessons.wordpress.com, which is worth a visit. There one can find, forexample, notes to the “Alterman Wall” game, which Boris won against theprogram Deep Fritz in the Kasparovchess.com Human vs Machine event in 2000.At some point, the fourth rank was filled by white pawns, from a4 to h4… In his Welcome article Alterman tells about his chess career. And, indeed, the blog has many chess lessons.”
I must say that I am SO GLAD that so many GM colleagues of mine are now reaching out to the chess fans through their own blogs. If we want chess to be more popular, professional players must to their parts to make chess more fan friendly.
Boris, welcome to the world of chess blogging 🙂
I wonder if GM Alterman has a gang of nut-jobs bothering him on the Internet…
Great! I am happy for this new development. I wish Boris Alterman success with his new blog.
