sometimes i’m a little sad, that this great blog here is an us-english one …
i’m a german chess-player (ok – not that famous ^^), a writer – journalist (my daily bread …), poet (a few months ago, i was choosen to be amongst the “100 most considerable poets of the german language” alive … ^^ – but believe me: i am not a Goethe!) and i worked about 20 years as a full scientist for some biotechnology companies…
believe it or not: climate change is NOT the worst problem of old mother earth … old mother earth will survive mankind, as well as it survived trilobites, dinosaurs or other dominating species… for sure, somewhere along the road an ice chilled or plate heated planet will be handed over to the brave cockroaches antennae…
“life will find a way…” (M. Crichton – and others…)
LIFE is unbeatable – only MANKIND is on a one-way-evolutionary-street (like most other species, too).
no nobel prize, no leadership, no war, no summit, no nothing will change anything … also chess will give no rescue…
lot’s of ways in – but no way out – mankind made it’s way and it made it bad – too much aggressiveness, too much individual selfishness, too less comprehension – and too much belief in the fairy tale of “creation’s crowning glory”.
in my imagination cockroaches dislike chess (much too human!) but bear with us. cockroaches are the most patient and fittest living form this world has ever grinded out – for sure! our fate is in their antennas…
LOL, with all respect but those men in monkeysuits (suit + tie) don’t look very ‘creative’
…
Yes, they look ‘leadership’ but not ‘creative’
Any pictures of you there, Susan? I bet you DO look creative! ;D
The list is impressive!
Answer to LOL, with all respect…..
