I thought that it would be a live transmission from the playing hall or something. Instead the opening ceremony is being replayed over and over and over for the last two days.
Well, as beeing participating live, please be so kind to put a note on your web site regarding “Tadaah TV”, as that channel might be unavailable or “a closed user group”:
I and some others recently tried to set up “new user” to get access to Olympiad TV, but the only message we get is:
“user already known”
That means it seems, nobody is currently able to create a new user for that Channel.
Could you confirm that this Channel is not available (anymore) or might be a fake?
As you published the press release from 11/08/2008 that it is available FOR ALL, plase be so kind to update your blog regarding Olympiad TV.
Especially after your and this current repetition, that it should be available (11/14/2008)???
Thank you so much for your feedback – we have so much feedback from the TV player as well; chess players from the whole world are impatient to finally see chess in TV again.
We are correcting the problems you have experienced:
About Live: The “Chess TV via Tadaah” is waiting for the live feed from Dresden and the organizers of the event; it should be up today or tomorrow they say.
About Free: The service is free to use for anyone. Our intention is to set TV free once and for all – the monopoly days of TV moguls are over.
If you have problems registering please email support:
support at tadaah dot tv
We are more than happy to help you.
About Webservice: The “user already known” means that someone already registered with your username.
Webservice unavailable triggers an alarm in our systems, and we got such an alarm when you tried to login. Sorry – it’s a startup.
Please write support with good and bad, wishes and so on.
All in all – we are doing our best to make Chess TV available to the whole world, live and for free.
Best regards, Bernino Lind from Tadaah bl at tadaah dot tv
Live games are great!
I just get ‘Tadaah web service is temporarily unavailable’.
Is this using some port which might be blocked off?
Tadaah is useless so don’t bother!
