Kramnik illegally has your world title and Anand illegally has you number one ranking. You are shut out of getting these back until 2009. Do you have any words for us?
I find it very interesting Anonymous handles cowardly leave daft messages and stay hidden (Not a surprising trait I must say) without having the guts to at least identify themselves.
>>These “What would you ask so-and-so” posts seem like a fairly stupid and transparent attempt to stir up controversy. They have the inevitable and highly predictable result of bringing out the usual moronic comments.>>
That would be my question to Susan. Why practicaly roll out the red carpet for trolls, and not hang around to police the blog afterwards? Do we *want* this kind of discussion going on? I thought we were campaigning against this kind of thing.
Hey everyone has a down day. I am sure Topalov is on that trend now. He should gather some strength and moves up. Try to regain what is lost from you. That all I can say.
I would ask him if he regrets the actions of his team in Elista and how he can repair the damage done to his reputation. I would ask him what he thinks is the best way to handle the equally outrageous allegations of him receiving hand signals from Danilov. I would ask him how he plans on retaking the number 1 spot.
This board definitely needs some monitoring! How about Danailov? Topalov’s manager, he would never tolerate what these Trolls are posting! He would allow only the facts on this board! Facts that can be substantiated and verified by evidence only.
The policy should be to only let people post what the players and managers would post themselves. That would go a long way to cleaning this blog up!
“The policy should be to only let people post what the players and managers would post themselves.”
It’s absolutely useless to have a public BLOG where you only allow opinions that reflect what you would say.
True some of the posters on both sides are rather juvenile and the posts are pedestrian but they are not mean nor nasty and there is no offensive language.
I am glad that this BLOG has a variety of opinions and don’t necessarily reflect the views of GM Polgar, even if I do not agree with many of them.

Agree totally.. Please Susan, don’t let fans fight here and pull your blog’s quality higher up..
Trolls will find anything to be …well… trolls about. I remember when she posted an article about a charity chess tournament benefiting cancer research and there were enough jokers to find something to troll about that particular subject.
GM Polgar, Please do not be afraid of posting anything that people may have a difference of opinion about or has some controversy attached to it. If you only posted things that were just plain vanilla that no-one had a strong opinion about then this would be a very dull BLOG indeed!
I am sure that in Sofia tournament everything will be well prepared (computers and extra payment for some of the participants)and Topo, our big hero, will increase his Elo at about 30 points
Mr. Topalov, what did you do that caused the brilliant dynamic chess when you won in Argentina with such style and what has occured in your game which has led you to lose World Championship match to Kramnik, horrible tournament results from someone of your stature who is capable of dominating all as Kasparov did at one time? P.S. I love your binary watch!

You seem to be on both sides of this issue. One minute you’re complaining about trolling, a while back you were defending it because it contributed to the diversity of opinion. Could you be a little more clear about what you think should and shouldn’t be allowed?
Let me clarify my position to the above anonymous poster.
My argument wasn’t that Trolls are perfectly OK. It was that if GM Polgar were to only post non-controversial articles for fear that the trolls will come out then her BLOG will be very uninteresting. Even if she did then the trolls would come out anyway. She could post an article titled “I like sunny days with a clear blue sky” and trolls will still be trolls.
As well, one can have a strong opinion of something and post something like: “I think Kramnik cheated at Elista” and this does not necessarily make them a troll. If they can say this while making cogent arguments supporting their position then they are not trolls even if I don’t agree with them.
That being said the other anonymous poster who said “I would ask him what is his new system to get moves from Danilov” is definately a troll.
I believe Topalov cheats. I like to post not to Topalov himself but to the posters who are Topalov supporters. I like pulling their chain and getting them frustrated.
Overall Topalov makes me angry. His cheating has hurt other players who lost to his cheating and has hurt chess in general. I would like to see Topalov get a lifetime ban for cheating. I hope his elo drops off the board and that he never gets another invitation to play in a top level tournament. He is bad for chess.

Hi Topalov, You have been on both side of cheating accusation. After these incident I haven’t seen you coming up with answer to clear yourself on the board. Do you have plans for the same if you are genuine? Or do you have plans for accept the charges in public?
— P. Anandh
PS: I’m not a fan of topalov, nor against him. I’m a chess fan hurt by these incidents
How do you comment your statement after San Luis when the unification match Kramnik-Topalov was raised to the fore that ‘the rating difference (abt 70 pts then) indicates altogether DIFFERENT CLASS? I believe Kramnik got 2800 ELO several years before you did and now the trend in your and Kramnik’s ratings seems to be exactly the opposite: Kramnik going up and you going down. Are we ecpecting to see ‘altogether diferent class’ again, but the other way round?
>>Why did you put up with the cheater Kramnik after game 4.. you should have left Elista immediately.>>
How would it have looked if Topalov had walked out right after they found cables in his restroom? The only choice was to stay there, try to brazen it out, and blame them on his opponent.
I would ask him about the cables that were found in the bathroom that he used half of the time and if he is considering a brain implant like Kramnik that would allow him to plug these same cables into his own brain.
I would ask Topalov; “So, have you and Danialov cooked up any more ideas to make you even more popular in chess circles? Maybe you can accuse Carlson of being the guy who shot Kennedy.”
I would ask him if he now regrets cheating or just getting caught.
I would ask him what is his new system to get moves from Danailov.
Mr. Topalov, do you feel that Anand is deserving of the number one spot in the world? And do you plan on taking that spot back soon?
Too many perverts leaving messages.

He is the best!!!!!!!!!
Do you pay the anonymous guys coming up with pro-Topalov and almost always nonsense posts at Susan’s blog ?

Just my opinion.
I will encourage hime not to give up and play better in the next tournament. He should be one of the best.
Is very hard to face the truth for some Topa-fans.
Kramnik and Anand stole something to him. What a sad story!
Quit crying like little girls!
XOXOXO

Why do your pictures make you look so scary. You look like you could play the devil in a movie.
He’s been in the movies, but not as the devil.
I bet you didn’t know that in his younger days, Topalov was Captain Sulu’s Helmsman:

I would ask this guy was he really thinking he was the #1?
I would ask how he tells himself a chessplayer since Kramnik beat out him 24-12 doubling doubling doubling
I would ask why his results in tournaments that he did not have eye contact with his “twin” danailov is so horribleeeeeeeeeeeee???
I would ask if he understands he only got #1 by accident? (and a bit because Kasparov retired of course)
I WOULD ASK HOW HE STOLE ONE POINT IN ELISTA? DOES HE HAVE ANY BELIEF LIKE “SIN”, HOW WILL HE WAIT TO BE FORGIVEN WITH SUCH EVIL BEHAVIOURS!
I would ask him those questions:
HOW A PAWN MOVES?
HOW A ROOK MOVES?
HOW A KNIGHT MOVES?
HOW A BISHOP MOVES?
HOW A QUEEN MOVES?
HOW A KING MOVES?
Because I am not sure he can move these without help of danailov may be he knows no chess lol lol lol
I find the posts here to be a lot of fun to read. Susan’s blog is the number one in the world for chess. Everyone comes here every day.

Topalov, why did you accept to play Kramnik so easily? Weren’t you pushed by the greediness of Danailov?

Why did you put up with the cheater Kramnik after game 4.. you should have left Elista immediately.
Then play a real challenger like Anand.

When will the headline of veselintopalov.net be changed to “… – a page dedicated to the N2-3 world chess player” ? 🙂
Kramnik got married. Do you have any such plans?

why r u being a cheater, topalov??
curse you!
I have reviewed just 2 threads question to Topalov and Kramnik.
It seems that Topalov fans are on higher mental level.
Kisses 😉
