Susan I am wondering if you and Gata have worked on chess together. My guess is that he might have known your openings well enough to get a jump on you.
I really super wish that I could have watched the games live in ICC. maybe next time.
and for being seeded lower down you certainly did yourself well.
I will certainly be watching gata in the Candidates. Hope he wins there. that will be exciting.
the final result is not yet fully posted. but I assume Gata has won. it does show him with a draw in the last game. your final game is not yet posted.
I play with the attitude of doing something great for chess in America and especially in NY. Win, lose or draw, I will have a blast. I will have an ever bigger blast if I manage to win a few games 🙂 Don’t worry, be happy and enjoy many of the exciting games. I certainly will!
And you certainly did — congratulations on a great performance! Looks like you remembered how the horsie moves… 🙂
Yea Susan!
Your performance was outstanding. Congratulations.
Outstanding result against this field. And, versus everyone not named Kamsky, you finished 6-2! Incredible!
Good job Susan!

Wow!!
Wonder about the performance
rating for Susan..
susan,
it was all those other responsibilities that took you from the number one spot – organizing the tournament, full time mom etc.
congratulations!
Susan,
You are more than ready to play tournament chess again even if it’s only part time. You are good for the game. I think your fans demand it.
Congratulations on a fine result!
Hi Susan,
A couple of days ago, you wrote this:

next time dont invite Gata. ( smile )
I wanted you and gata to win. but I will accept gata and you winning.
I am very impressed Susan. I remembered how you said that people should play the last game to win. and you did. you won the last game. nice going.
You won the 2nd half like Topalov has recently. Your performance without Gata is absolutely incredible. with Gata it is Superb.
You should come up to Harvard Square at Au Bon Pain they play the Master for $2 a game. if we disguise you good, maybe we can pick up some money.
Susan, Congratulations!!!
A CLEAR second place behind only Gata Kamsky and ahead of an all-GM field, including the current US Champ, – that’s just SUPERB!
You and your friend Gata have clearly shown them how the horsie moves!!!
