Results of the FIDE International Organizers Seminar in Kampala, Uganda
August 28-30, 2015
This seminar was held in conjunction with the Uganda Chess Federation with the endorsement of the African Continent and the FIDE Events Commission.
28 new organizers from East African countries participated in this seminar. The main goals of the seminar were to motivate, provide knowledge and create an environment for the new organizers to run chess tournaments and event in East Africa.
All participants took the examination at the end of the seminar and achieved the ‘seminar norm’.
