Official website: www.bielchessfestival.ch/cms Also excellent coverage on http://www.europe-echecs.com/
Polgar wins, Radjabov draws Carlsen, Onischuk draws and 3-way tie for 1st.
why did Radjabov take a 10-move draw against Motylev last round???
hey judit can beat this guy!
Susan, please, congratulate Judit for her brilliant defense in her endgame against Grischuk. Ng4 is astounding.
Can anybody tell me how many moves were there from yesterday’s Radjabov-Motylev game? Chessdom claims they did 14 moves, ChessBase 16 moves, official site games 10 moves.
It’s somewhat laughable that in this era of technology we still have such discrepancy.
Today: Onischuk wins, Carlsen draws, and Onischuk takes the cup.
I was shocked to watch Carlsen lose 2 games in a row. He played both poorly.
first Bxh7 seemed pretty dumb.
2nd putting the Q on a4 and then much worse was blocking it in with Nb6 instead of the Nf6 which would have been much stronger.
Seems like he is trying to be too creative. My opinion is that he needs to simply learn to play more solid instead of trying so hard to mix it up.
Carlsen!… always Carlsen!!! 🙂
Blitz comes now… Magnus shall win somehow!!!!!!!! :))
