Technically speaking, four players are still in contention to either tie for first or finish clear first. The three players at the top all have Black in this final round.
Ivanchuk has to face Dominguez, Grischuk has to face Aronian and Carlsen has to face the World Champion Anand.
Anand has to beat Carlsen and hope that both Grischuk and Ivanchuk would lose to tie for first. If both Grischuk and Ivanchuk draw, they are guaranteed at least a share of first. Carlsen has to win and hope that Grischuk and Ivanchuk would lose to win clear first or tie for first if both Grischuk and Ivanchuk would draw.
Sound confusing? Maybe, but it sure is exciting!

It’s nearly the same level: Let the disappointing Aronian win today, and he is just half a point away from the man who leaded almost the whole tournament long…
But Levon must change his repertoire: You can’t always play the Slav in times when everybody is studying it’s lines.
By the way: …c5 was the losing point yesterday, wasn’t it?
what happens if all games drawn? ivanchuks tie will be the best?
Mighty Chucky!
“Carlsen has to win and hope that Grischuk and Ivanchuk would lose to win clear first or tie for first if both Grischuk and Ivanchuk would draw.

It would be more confusing if you had written it fully correct.
“… or tie for first if either Grischuk and Ivanchuk draws and the other one loses or if they both draw.”
😉
Go, Vassily, you’re one of my predictions for the win, next to Aronian who seems to be a bad predicition.
Ivanchuk has lost so many (virtual) rating points but he is still one of the best (in my eyes).
Win or lose, you’ll have to pee Chucky!
you forgot to say i f either griscjk or ivanchuk win then the y becoe the champs. or if both win both become champs leaving carlsen out of the prize along withtworldchesschampionvishy!

“Win or lose, you’ll have to pee Chucky!”
FIDE will have to be happy catching Chucky’s urine droplets as we all know he cannot pee into the cup. Doing dope and alcohol ruins his aim into the cup. The poor man needs help.
