Keene is better.
What about Short? He was in the World Championship match one year.
As i’ve said before, Caruana played one magnificent tournament which brought him about +35 ELO. But that result was mostly because his opponents played very badly. Lots of inaccuracies and blunders. AT this point FAB FAB will drop lots of points cause every draw or loss drops points. And FAB FAB lacks consistancy. He has been stuck on sub-top too long. He now is true elite, but only on basis of his ELO. He’s a great player but not the best. Not even close.
Though, he has his place in history books. But that’s all. Hell, Adams has his place too, by defeating FAB FAB fabulously in the Londen Classic 2014. I’m not surprised Adams won. He exposed FAB FAB’s weeknesses.
Short was handpicked by Kasparov as easy prey. He still licks Kasparov’s behind until today.
short becoming WC challenger is an accident.. proof.. he had the steepest fall to get out of top level chess..
