1.Nf4 doesen’t work. After 1…Qxa2 2.Qe7 Ba6 (2…a5?? and black has a forced mate, 2.Rd8 2…h6 (2…Ba6 3.Qxf8#)3.Qxf8 Kh7 4.Qg8#) But after 2…Ba6 white has nothing
I like 1.Nf6+ 1…gxf (1…Kh8 2.Qxf8#) 2.exf and black can’t defend against both threats, Qxf8+ Rd8# and Qg3+ with mate on g7
Nf6+!
1.Nf6+ gf6
2.ef6
threatening Qg3+ Qg7# and Qxf8+ Rd8#
1. Nf4 Qa2
2. Qe7 a5
3. Rd8 h6
4. Qxf8+ Kh7
5. Qh8#
1. Q c6 ! ( Threat Qxa8)
1…Ba6
2. b5
1. Nf4 Qa2
2. Qe7 a5
3. Rd8 h6
4. Qxf8+ Kh7
5. Qh8#
2…Ba6 and Black can breathe easy.
1. Q c6 ! ( Threat Qxa8)
1…Ba6
2. b5
Black just captures 2…Bxb5 and now actually wins.
Posts 1 and 2 have the solution.
What is the solution? I must now before midnight.
1.Nf4 doesen’t work.
After 1…Qxa2
2.Qe7 Ba6
(2…a5?? and black has a forced mate, 2.Rd8 2…h6 (2…Ba6 3.Qxf8#)3.Qxf8 Kh7 4.Qg8#)
But after 2…Ba6 white has nothing
I like 1.Nf6+
1…gxf (1…Kh8 2.Qxf8#)
2.exf and black can’t defend against both threats, Qxf8+ Rd8# and Qg3+ with mate on g7
Sorry for comment above. It’s not black who has a forced win it’s white
1.Nf6+ gf6
2.ef6 The double threat of Qg3 and Qxf8 followed by Rd8 mate forces black to give up the queen by Qf1 to gain 1 move…
