Probably another puzzle I have seen somewhere- again had that vague sense of familiarity, but again, not in my notes- maybe seen at Chessbase sometime in the mid to early 2000s. The “amazing winning chess tactic” sort of tells you it is a queen sacrifice, so I spotted Qa8 almost immediately given the latent threat of Nxe7. I don’t have a lot to add to James’ analysis other than to suggest that 1. ….Bd8 might make a slightly more tenable defense than 1. …Rg6:
1. Qa8 Bd8!?
2. Qa7 Nc6
3 Ne7! Ne7! (Be7 4.Qb6)
White has won the exchange, but black has protected the queenside pawns, at least in the short term. If I were white, I would take control of the d-file with one of the rooks and white’s edge should be decisive with moderately accurate play.
Well, Black can prevent the exchange loss by play 2. …g5. However, white would surely have some sort of advantage due to the loose position of Black’s king in that line, but not a material edge.
1.Qa8 threatening to capture the R or B
1…. Rxg6
2.Qxa7 Nd7
3.Qc7 and Black must accept an exchange of Queens or lose the b pawn.
I meant Qa8 threatening to capture the R or N, if Black plays Rxa8 White can play Nxe7+ followed by Nxc8
No, 3.Rfd1, and Black’s N has to move to save itself but is pinned against the bishop so Black had to play 2… Nc6 losing the b pawn

Yes that’s much better analysis than mine.
How about 1. Nxe7+, Rxe7 force
2. Bh3, ????
What’s best move for black?
I mean 2. Bh4

Qa8 is best answer…
