Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Anand just beat Kramnik- again.
Kramnik lost. Now there should be no doubt about who the best player is or who the tournament winner is and by Anand’s pathetic score, who the true World Championship is.
anand won vs kramnik
I guess Kramnik isn’t that smart after all, he should have wait and take the lead a little later than the moment he did! And Anand obviously isn’t saving so hard himself for the Championship match, if he’s able to beat Kramnik and Shirov. He’s still up there in top 3, no doubt!
All this argument about who is better is silly. It’s fun to watch them in action.
Kramnik has become a tournament player, and Anand a match player.
As a match player, Anand is playing solid, not losing, not taking huge risks. Maybe, he just wants to get some exercise, but not show his cards for the upcoming Topalov match.
Kramnik has no reason to play his match-player style.
When was the last time Kramnik lost with black in the Petroff?
Kramnik should take more of those late-night showers, or he could request that shower rooms be provided during games.
