PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenian grandmaster Avetik Grigoryan tops the standings at Mikhail Chigorin Memorial International Chess Festival.
He beat Konstantin Zalkind (Israel), Shamil Arslanov (Russia), Miroslav Vlasenko (Russia) and Poland’s Bartosz Soćko in the past four rounds.
Grigoryan will face off against Azerbaijan’s Vasif Durarbeyli, who comes 2nd with 4 points.
The event has brought together more than 300 players, with 75 grandmasters among them.
