Of course I made a pun on the great Georgian former world champion Nona Gaprindashvili, whom I had the pleasure of meeting (though not playing) at Lone Pine 1977, where she tied for 1st with Yuri Balashov, Oscar Panno, and Dragutin Sahovic. N.G. was awesome, beating 3 GMs who took part in the US Zonal Championship the next year.
