Chess in Kabul Kabul Some female chess players from Kabul. This was sent to me by Boy Frank from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hague, Holland. Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Nice picture. Great to see these women play chess.
Its so sad to think that Bush may actually have killed some chess players during the bombing of Afghanistan
How many chess playing womken would have been murdered for playing chess in the days of the Taliban?
Were women allowed to play chess under the Taliban rule?
Are they allowed now?
Were they permitted to play against men? Are they now?
Are things better for worse for women in the last few years?
I don’t know the answers, but I’m interested to know.
What openings resulted in these positions? :0)
Are we sure that isn’t checkers being played with chess pieces?
