Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Very impressive win, beating Radja in 28 moves was unexpected after the last two losses. But Magnus has done this before, his fight against Aronian showed that he got what it takes. A bit more stability and Magnus will get there, to become the worlds nr. 1
The queen sacrifice he played in the last play-off game against Onichuck was amazing!!
(40…Qxg1+)
How many rating points will Magnus gain from this tournament?
Someone claimed 5.8 more points. But have not seen that confirmed as yet. But it sounds reasonable.
Carlsen have already won Topalov, Radabjov. He have got a respectable name in high rated chess . It will be interesting to follow his career.
Can anyone tell me Magnus Carlsen’s original blog url? I’ve heard about this but am unable to find it. Thank you.
