The traditional sixth blitz match between “Blondes” and “Brunettes” took place on 27th March in the Russian Chess House in Moscow.
The playing format was Scheveningen with eight players in each team.
Brunettes took an early initiative in the match but Blondes caught up and equalised two rounds before the finish. Brunettes were better in the final yards and clinched a 34,5-29,5 victory. Individual results below.
The overall score in all matches held since 2011 is 3,5:2,5 in favor of Blondes.
The first match was held in 2011, when the Brunettes won. In 2012 the Blondes struck back. In 2013 after the fierce fighting the match was tied 50:50. Blondes then won two times in a row, in 2014 and 2015.
