This is a weird roster.
I agree. Why did they invite these people? Why not invite Kramnik, Topalov, Anand etc… and other super GMs, and play regular rapid chess games which are exciting to watch. This is a waste of money!
I doubt that even Rex Sinquefield could afford what it would cost to lure the likes of Anand or Kramnik to Saint Louis!
I’d like the following new assessment attributed to me and when quoted refer to ‘anonymous’:
Why do most women play worse chess than men? Because most women are trained by men. We need more women trainers in USA.
