Angola to host African chess summit Saturday

Luanda, Angola – Angola will host the African chess summit of 13 countries Saturday in Luanda, with a view to adopting a unified programme for the development of the sport in the continent, PANA reported from here, quoting the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP).
The Secretary General of the Angolan Chess Federation (FAX), Abrao dos Reis, said the summit would be attended by representatives from Angola, Mozambique, Lesotho, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Sao Tome and Principe, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Gambia, Tunisia and DR Congo.
