So won a wad load of money.
This tournament seems to be very tough. A lot of players lost rating points.
How much money did Wesley win?
But he lost ELO points?
He might dip below 2600?
Money is more important.
I think they said that the prize for top junior (which Wesley won) is 2500 euro. Not bad.
Kinda weird how he won only 1000 euro for first place in Corus C but 2500 euro for 37th place in Aeroflot.
I don’t think Wesley will fall below 2600. His performance in Corus pushed his rating above 2650 I think. So any loss of rating points he picks up here will not bring him below 2600.
Kid’s probably tired. He should rest, get caught up with his academic work and get ready for the next tournament. Don’t know what that is though.
