Top Armenian GM learns final lineup in Norway tourney
Armenia’s top grandmaster Levon Aronian, who is going to take part in a 10-man super tournament to be held in Stavanger, Norway, on June 2-13, has learned the final lineup of his future competitors.
According to Armchess.am, besides the Armenian participating in the tournament will be Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), Fabiano Caruana (U.S./Italy) Vladimir Kramnik, Peter Svidler, Sergey Karjakin, Alexander Grischuk (all representing Russia), Anish Giri (the Netherlands) and Simen Agdestein (Norway).
Last year Aronian finished fifth among ten participants at Stavanger. The 31-year-old Armenian player maintained his second rank in FIDE’s top player list released on May 1, trailing reigning world champion Carslen by 67 rating points.

Why is Nakamura avoiding this tournament. Ah, these are men’s games and too strong for a kid like her.
Just wondering why everytime theres a big tournament, Nakamura is always AWOL. Maybe hes just content to be a spectator or he knows he cant win anyway so why bother.
